A fire broke out in a machine room on the 12th floor on 30 Broad Street on Tuesday morning, three people have been injured, reported the FDNY. The fire erupted at 10 a.m. in the 46-story building in Lower Manhattan.
A fire alarm went off spot thus and so 26 units and 84 firefighters responded to the fire. Sprinkler systems put out the fire, but all the same there was still a mild smoke on the 12th floor. The fire was out before midday.
Three workers from the machine room, where the fire seated, were taken to the hospital.
The people in the building were evacuated right on time.
